Details: Joyce Deer is a developmental disability professional with over 30 years of experience serving individuals both in an in-home and facility environment. Joyce is also a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide and has 5 years diabetes management experience. She enjoys sharing her life and experiences with others and looks forward to being able to provide one-on-one attention and support to each individual while focusing on their individual person-centered plan.
Joyce lives in a two-story home that is well-maintained, equipped with three bedrooms, home gym w/sauna, music room, reading room, and three full bathrooms. As a gardening enthusiast, she has many mature fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Joyce’s home is in a quiet, peaceful, low-crime neighborhood located in the suburbs of Richmond City. The home is nestled on a large corner lot with plenty of privacy, surrounded by beautiful foliage and wild blackberries. The home has a large 30-foot outdoor deck equipped with seating and panoramic views where you can sit and enjoy beautiful sunsets and serene tree-lined views surrounded by blue sky. Joyce currently has one bed available. The individual she supports should be able to navigate stairs and preferably willing to participate in a day support program. The room is spacious and comes with a private bathroom. Joyce has two backup workers who are both trained and experienced and who share her passion for helping to support others in obtaining the highest quality standard of living possible.
Joyce believes her Christian-based faith has given her the tools to show the love and understanding necessary to provide the very best care. She loves spending time with family and friends, dancing, fine dining as well as relaxing at home, reading, board games, knitting, and exercising. She is a culinary enthusiast and enjoys creating gourmet cuisine. She also enjoys regular trips to the beach, parks, and museums. Joyce has two adult daughters and two grandchildren who live out of state; however, she maintains regular contact with them. Her eldest daughter works in the field of mental health as a licensed mental health therapist.


Name: Regina Cropper

Details: Regina lives with her 16-year-old son, Kelby, and their loving dog, Rome. Regina currently supports one individual in her home. She has several years of experiences in caregiving and takes great pride in creating a stable and nurturing environment where individuals feel safe, valued, and truly at home.
As a family, they enjoy attending community events, exploring local parks and beaches, and trying out different restaurants. They also love spending time at home watching movies, playing board games, and walking Rome around the neighborhood. Rome is a gentle and affectionate dog who brings a lot of joy to the household.
Regina believes in encouraging independence while providing the right level of support, whether it’s helping with daily routines, learning new life skills, or simply enjoying a fun outing together. She strives to make sure the individuals she supports feel like part of the family. Her home is welcoming, peaceful, and adaptable to meet the needs of those who live here. Regina looks forward to welcoming another individual into her home and sharing meaningful experiences together.

Details: Cynthia Bolden is a dedicated developmental disability professional with more than 10 years of experience supporting individuals in both in-home and facility-based settings. In addition to her extensive background, she is a Licensed Certified Medication Aide with specialized experience in diabetes management. Cynthia is passionate about sharing her life, skills, and experiences with others, and she takes pride in offering personalized, one-on-one care that reflects each individual’s unique person-centered plan.
Cynthia resides in a well-maintained two-story home located in a peaceful, low-crime suburban neighborhood in North Chesterfield. Her home features four bedrooms, a loft/game room, and three full bathrooms. She currently has two spacious bedrooms available. Individuals supported in her home should be able to safely navigate stairs and preferably be interested in participating in a day support program. Cynthia also has trained and experienced backup staff who share her commitment to helping others achieve the highest possible quality of life.
Family-oriented by nature, Cynthia encourages and supports meaningful family connections. Guided by her Christian faith, she believes deeply in showing love, compassion, and understanding as the foundation of excellent care. Cynthia describes herself as an ambivert who enjoys both quiet moments at home and engaging activities. She loves cooking meals from a variety of cultures, hosting board game or movie nights, and relaxing in the living room with music. She also enjoys bowling, shopping, traveling, and dining out. Above all, Cynthia considers herself a servant at heart. She finds joy in supporting adults with developmental and intellectual differences and is committed to providing a warm, respectful, and enriching home environment for those in her care.
