Thousands of Virginians have disabilities. They, along with their families or caregivers, must navigate a system to get the services and support they need to live the lives they deserve. Often, individuals with disabilities and those who care for them come to a crossroad where they must face an impossible choice.
Join DePaul Community Resources as we take a deeper look at the disabilities system in Virginia through the eyes of those who navigate it every day. Our hope is that their stories, their realities, will show ways in which the current system works and ways in which it doesn’t.
