DePaul Community Resources is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are able to serve our clients through state and local funds, as well as by private donations.

Donations to DePaul Community Resources can be used to help improve the quality of life for the children, families and adults we serve. Here are examples of how your gift could help an individual in need:

A $25 gift could provide:

  • Dinner and a movie for an IL teen
  • Ice cream or fast food gift cards to use as rewards
  • Craft supplies for our OPTIONS clients to use while volunteering at a local day care center
  • A suitcase for a foster child
  • A gift card to a restaurant that can be used as a reward to an IL teen or a thank you to a foster parent
  • The purchase of a school yearbook for a child
  • Refreshments for a post-adoption parent support group
  • Holiday gifts for our foster care children and our development disabilities clients

 

A $50 gift could provide:

  • Admission / transportation for a teen to go to an amusement park with an IL support group
  • An ice cream social or pizza party for our OPTIONS Day support clients
  • A set of pots & pans for a teen who will be aging out of the foster care system
  • Horticulture supplies for an OPTIONS Day Support program
  • New bedding for a DD client in a group home

 

A $100 gift could provide:

  • The purchase of a prom dress or a tux for a teenage foster child
  • A glider or swing for a group home
  • A digital camera for a foster child to document his or her memories
  • The purchase of computer software and games for clients to use at OPTIONS

 

A $250 gift could provide:

  • Educational tutoring for foster children
  • Furniture for teens to start their own apartment when aging out of foster care
  • A day outing for a small group of Group Home or Day Support clients

 

A $500 gift could provide:

  • Travel expenses for a foster child’s class trip
  • The purchase of exercise equipment for a Day Support program
  • The purchase of outdoor patio furniture for a group home

 

A $1000 gift could provide:

  • The purchase of a laptop computer for an IL teen or foster child
  • Assist with the cost of a foster parent / care provider appreciation banquet.
