DePaul Community Resources is thrilled to continue a new tradition by hosting our Forest office’s Second Annual Fun Fair on Saturday, June 10. The family friendly event is free and open to the public, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the DePaul office located at 4859 Waterlick Road in Forest.
“It is our hope that this event will bring the community together for a fun day while creating awareness about the services offered by DePaul,” stated DePaul’s Fun Fair planning staff. “We welcome young and adult clients of DePaul as well as providers, their families and friends, community partners, and all others who might be interested in learning more about who we are at DePaul and what we do.”
Guests of the fair can try their hand at carnival games to win prizes, sink DePaul staff in the dunking booth, or take a trip down the “Extreme 18” inflatable slide. Various local vendors will be present, along with food trucks, face painting, crafts, a photo booth, as well as music and karaoke provided by popular local DJ, Jessica Behrens. Parents can also stop by a child identification booth to have free photo ID cards made for their children.
“It’s so great to see the looks on all the kids’ faces,” said a DePaul client, who attended DePaul’s first-ever Fun Fair last year, “Especially when they win prizes after playing games.”
