Community Based Services Director - Roanoke
DePaul Community Resources, a non-profit social service agency, is seeking a licensed professional counselor (LPC) or a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to develop, implement and manage a multi-office, multi-faceted community based services program. This program will serve families who are in need of clinical or case management services designed to assist with maintaining the family’s children in the home or in reuniting the family with their children. Areas served include central, western and southwestern Virginia. Experience in program development, supervision, Intensive in-home, prevention services, out-patient services, DMAS regulations, or other services to families preferred. Day Support Mentors - Waynesboro
Individuals needed to work with adults with developmental disabilities in our Day Support Program in Waynesboro. Full-time & part-time positions available. Interested individuals must be patient, caring and responsible. Mentors provide supervision, training, recreational & social activities and personal care to adults with developmental disabilities. Applicants must have a minimum of a H.S. diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training/education and/or experience. Experience supporting people who have developmental disabilities and college course work is preferred. Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. Applicants shall must pass criminal background check.
Director of Adult Foster Care Residential Services – Lynchburg
Seeking an individual for a full-time position in the Lynchburg area working in our Developmental Disabilities Program serving adults in foster care. Will provide leadership and oversight to Adult Foster Care Supervisors to ensure quality programming. Master’s degree in Human Service field. Bachelors with comparable experience. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Developmental Disabilities field. Strong preference for Medicaid Waiver/DBHDS experience. Must have excellent oral and written skills. Flexible work schedule is required at times. Travel to other offices is required at times.
TFC Specialist (Social Worker)
Full-time position available working in the Roanoke office in our Foster Care Program. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field required. Experience in foster care and an M.S.W. or other related master’s degree in Human Services is preferred. Responsibilities include providing intensive casework services to children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional and/or medical disabilities, and with parents hoping to be reunified with their children who are in foster care. The ability to work effectively with foster parents, birth families and other community professionals is essential.
TFC Supervisor – Danville
Seeking a qualified professional to lead the Treatment Foster Care program in our Danville office. Primary responsibilities include supervision of social work staff, recruitment and home studies on prospective foster parents, training and case management. Previous supervisory experience, foster care experience and an M.S.W. or other related Master’s degree is preferred. The ability to provide effective supervision to casework staff who are working directly with children and adolescents, including those with behavioral, emotional and/or medical disabilities is necessary. Working effectively with foster parents, birth families and other community professionals is essential.
