FUNDING SOURCES
The Adoption Program is funded through grants from the Virginia Department of Social Services, the Dave Thomas Foundation, other private foundations and contributions. Adoption services are provided at no cost to the children, adoptive families or Local Departments of Social Services.
The adoption program is open to all children and families without regard to race, color, national origin or gender. Such factors will not be the sole factor in determining the best placement for a child. Children with disabilities will be accepted if their needs can be reasonably accommodated.
